What Johnny Depp wants most

Wine is loved by many. Some want to be a critic of the drink though. Lots of people prefer to just drink it without having to criticize the flavor of it. Depp has his own vineyard so that he can make his wine just good for himself. Now he does not have to worry about getting wine from any person else again.

Critical Reflection

Reading through the pages of the past couple of years
Broke an unmovable man into tears
Because he was reminded of his fears
And all that was lost, alleviated and accelerated by the beer

All the clouds of smoke numbed the brain

It Takes Discipline to Attain

I document my life through poetry and trapping my free thoughts. The purpose is to document the events that control my life. These events have caused me to possess infinite questions and one is am I really alive? I understand my heart beats and I have DNA, but is this what was really meant for me?

Open to Inspiration

In my dreams last night I had a visit with Deepak Chopra. He has been on my mind lately after reading his book, Power, Grace and Freedom. I talked with him as if we were friends and I was quite impressed by his warmth and the sense that this person understands, as much as anyone ever has, about the highest realms of human expression. In my waking state I feel touched by the depth and compassion that was exchanged in the dream realm. In this moment as I write this, I feel the energy of that dream conversation and I feel filled with questions. Who am I in my dream state? Can I have these conversations in that state and awaken more in my life? What are the possibilities here? Hum?

Qualities of a Billionaire Heart

I am excited about this idea of Billionaire Heart because the world needs billions of such hearts. I spent some time thinking about the qualities of a Billionaire Heart. Here is what I have come up with so far:

Have a Billionaire Heart

I read an article in the paper on Sunday that I keep thinking about. The article was about billionaires and how most of them give very little away. I thought what a loss of opportunity for opening the heart. Giving feels good; giving opens the heart. So then I thought - how come? Could it be fear, a sense of lack or scarcity in some way, a disconnection from the heart, an intention to not see the need in the world, or maybe insulation from the harsh realities of many. I don’t know? I wonder about this because I feel the needs of people, I experience my own struggles, I see where giving can make such a positive difference in the world. When I give, I enjoy how it feels and want to give more.

Enlightenment

Enlightenment - my goal. Possible? Don't think so. Well, could be... Am I on a path? Not really. That's too rigid for me. But I guess I am on the search. You know, that search all the books are written for. All the mystics, saints, poets, scientists. All those words...

Seven Spiritual Laws (Part 7)

As this series has unfolded, one respondent pointed out that the seven spiritual paths are more accurately described as levels or stages of spiritual growth. That seems fair to me, with this caveat. A person may have little idea of what spiritual stage he has reached; it is perilously difficult to judge such things either from the inside or outside. But a path is consciously chosen. Having chosen it, we may

Seven Spiritual Paths (Part 6)

It may seem that we have wandered far away from practical everyday reality into the realm of esoterica. After Path #4, which saw the birth of intuitive knowledge, everything that happens in the spiritual life happens in consciousness. The person doesn't leave material reality behind, but there is a radical new relationship with it. The three-dimensional world becomes what is often described as a waking dream.

Seven Spirtual Paths (Part 5)

As spirituality becomes more private and esoteric it inspires deeper skepticism among modern people. Words like "science" and "reason" are used as counters to "faith" and "irrationality." It's as if the two roads must diverge. But the truth is more complex. Higher spiritual states continue to manifest today as they have in every age. Anyone who seriously seeks for evidence of miracles, divine communication, ecstasy, epiphanies, etc. can find these phenomena today. At the same time, far from abolishing the superstition of religious phenomena, cutting-edge science has done more in recent decades to validate them than to explain them away. The scathing angry rebuke of skeptics has become irrelevant to modern spirituality because it is so far behind the times. The fusion of reason and spirituality continues to progress.
